Woodstock Blvd, leading to the Woodstock shopping area, library, and recreational areas, is served by TriMet bus Line #19. SE Woodstock has direct access to I-205. SE 39th Avenue, running north-south through Portland’s east side, is served by line #75, which runs from Milwaukie to St Johns. It has direct access to the MAX light rail at NE 42nd at the Hollywood Transit Center. SE Holgate Blvd is a major traffic arterial from west to east; at its westend, it exits northbound onto McLoughlin Blvd toward downtown Portland. Holgate Avenue is served by the # 17 bus line. Bisecting the Reed Neighborhood is SE Steele Street, served by the #10 bus line.

Designated bike lanes through Reed Neighborhood include: North/South along SE 28th, and east/west along SE Woodstock and SE Steele. Metro has approved the extension of light rail to Portland’s east side. The line, from Portland to Milwaukie, will follow McLoughlin Blvd. with stops north and south of Reed at Holgate and Bybee. A future station at Harold Street would directly serve this neighborhood.
