Seeking Public Comment on Land Use Zoning Exception Request

A new permit has been granted for construction of a 79′ cell phone tower. The owner wishes to be excluded from city zoning requirements for landscaping and setback rules associated with this new project. The city is seeking comments to be filed prior to Jan 12th.

Proposed New City Zoning – Residential Infill Project

City of Portland has requested your input and comments during the deliberation period for a proposed new Zoning Overlay¬† ¬† (“a” overlay) to guide new residential infill building code for new construction home size, density, and ADUs across the various base zones already in place.

Please see the links and the maps from the City of Portland. This affects most property in the Reed Neighborhood, including Reed College.

The project has several upcoming informational open houses where you can meet with city personnel to discuss your property or provide comment.
